Your baby is still depending on you for just about everything except for sleeping, but is well along the road to those first steps of independence! Your little one may need some stabilization to sit up at this point, but it's a long way from laying on the back to being upright and able to see the world right side up!
You are likely using toys to engage your baby's attention and begin teaching motor coordination. Your baby is developing a stronger attachment to both parents at this point, and so you're still spending as much time in close contact as you can. Likely you're still using Bodysuits and Sleep N Play since this stage may be fast on the heels of the Head Up stage, but you might be starting to consider shirts and pants now.
Feeding time is probably getting messier if you've started introducing solid food, so the same bibs that were important before are getting even more important to you now.
